Will DKL Web Designs provide us with a domain name?
Your domain name is the Web address or URL (eg. www.microsoft.com) that people will type in to reach your site. If you do not already own a domain name, we will gladly purchase it for you through our hosting service at one of the most competitive prices on the market (see below).

Does DKL Web Designs also handle hosting and, if so, how does it work?
Absolutely. We will register your domain name with our hosting company and make all preparations for publishing your site on the World Wide Web. Our hosting service includes:
- 100 megabytes of space to house your site.
- Unlimited independent e-mail accounts with unlimited aliases
- Web Statistics tracking the number of visitors per hour/per day, most and least visited sections within your site, as well as key search words that visitors are using to find your site.
- Remote Webmail enabling e-mail account holders to check their mail from any computer in the world with Internet access.
What’s involved in preparing my price quotation?
The requirements of your Website are carefully analyzed and discussed among our executive team. We then formulate a detailed, item-by-item cost breakdown to present to you as an opening bid. This quote is, of course, open to negotiation should you re-evaluate your needs. To us, every Website is completely unique with respect to content and features, making it difficult to provide a pre-set or “basic” quote. However, DKL Web Designs is proud to offer the most competitive pricing in the industry.
Is online shopping safe for my customers?
Yes. We employ the latest security software and encryption protocols (SSL – Secure Socket-Layer Technology) to protect e-commerce transactions, as well as all credit card and billing information.
Will people be able to find my site? How does search engine submission work?
We encode your Website with 30 – 35 key words (or metatags) most likely to be used by those searching the Internet, along with a 20 – 25 word description to accompany the site in search results. Submission then occurs on three levels. First, we will submit your Website to the top ten search engines on the World Wide Web (excluding Yahoo). Second, we conduct a meta-submission to mass network your Website in approximately 1700 additional search engines.
How is my satisfaction guaranteed?
DKL Web Designs takes several steps to ensure total satisfaction. First, we use a detailed questionnaire to determine your preferences for style, theme, and color. We discuss features and special effects that interest you or that may have impressed you on other Websites – sound, animation, and so on. Next, we identify your goals for the site, your target market, and your organizational strengths and advantages. We then customize your Website to best serve these strengths and this market.
Finally, while under construction, DKL Web will host your site temporarily on our own server, allowing you to regularly check the progress of your site throughout the production process. Additionally, we’ll check to confirm that each major development meets your specifications, so that the only surprise in store will be the quality of the finished product.
What type of after-sales service can I expect from DKL Web Designs?
Your approval is our highest priority. We’ll gladly handle minor updates to your site in the future at no extra charge or, where possible, we will instruct you on how to perform them yourself. We invite you to let us perform any major updates, which shall be billed at a reasonable hourly rate. A hard copy of your entire completed Website will also be provided to you free of charge on CD-ROM upon request.
My schedule is already very full. What will be expected of me in terms of time and resources?
